Honoring Our Past, Empowering Our Future: The 2025 Pretty Bird Woman Scholarship
I believe that innovation flows through generations—from the hands that crafted tools centuries ago to the minds that engineer circuits today. That's why I'm beyond proud to announce our 2025 Pretty Bird Woman Scholarship recipient: Trysten. Named after my grandmother, this scholarship honors our ancestors by investing in the future of our youth, encouraging both science and the arts for students on the Blackfeet Nation. Trysten's passion for nursing speaks to the most sacred of our traditions: the protection and nurturing of new life.

IndigeNash 2024.
About a week ago, we hopped in the car and headed to Nashville for the first-ever IndigeNash event. It was such a cool celebration of Native artists across all kinds of creative areas—art, music, film, fashion, food, and dance—and we were so excited to be a part of it.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2023
Indigenous Peoples’ Day (IPD), a day where we take time to celebrate Indigenous culture in the United States.
Two Medicine - The Full Blackfeet Story
Two Medicine is one of the few locations in Glacier National Park that still holds its original Blackfeet name. Following the establishment of Glacier National Park, many Blackfeet landmarks were renamed, diminishing the history of our people.
As you read the story of Two Medicine, I hope that you see this location different after today. Two Medicine has always been and will be a special place to the Blackfeet Nation.
