Beefy clean boost to heavy vintage fuzz: Frybread redefines gain for fuzz pedals. Gain down gets a robust boost but as gain is increased, Frybread transforms into a subtle drive to wooly distortion and finally stopping at screaming vintage-flavored fuzz.
Mid-forward voicing that's tough: Frybread delivers a massive bump in the mids. This mid-focused voicing creates a fuzz tone with enough body to sound tough, while ensuring you won't disappear in a mix. Lower gain reminds you of cranking a clean amp into natural distortion while opening it up puts you into thick and warm fuzz territory with growling lows and tastefully refined highs.
Touch-responsive dynamics from clean to chaos: Frybread reacts naturally to your playing technique. At higher gain settings, you get a blooming, starving effect then back off and you achieve a beautiful edge-of-breakup tone that responds to every nuance.
Expressive tone shaping: Frybread's powerful tone control allows you to always dial in enough top end to cut through with ease. Roll it back for warmer tones with massive midrange or turn it up for more in-your-face highs. From dark to bright tones, you're never stuck with one voicing. You've got options.
Pickup impedance conditioning for signal chain freedom: Frybread's internal pickup simulator allows it to be placed anywhere in your chain and will guarantee that Frybread will always sound the same regardless of where it's at in the signal chain. Most fuzz pedals are picky about what comes before or after them. Frybread doesn't care.

Here's how Blackfeet tradition shaped the engineering.
In Blackfeet culture, frybread holds a place at every table. Made from simple ingredients, it became foundational across generations of Native families. Topped with chili and fixings for an Indian taco, served with honey and jam, or eaten plain alongside family stories, frybread adapts to any occasion while always tasting good. Frybread's magic is not complexity. It's in how something simple becomes essential because it works everywhere.
That philosophy directed every engineering decision on this pedal. Most fuzz pedals trap you in one sound. They start fuzzy and only get fuzzier, and getting a usable clean or low-gain tone out of them can be really tough. We built Frybread Fuzz with a unique analog topology that could have expanded into a dozen controls, but we kept it to three knobs because frybread doesn't need a lot of ingredients either. We designed Frybread with a pickup simulator so the pedal always sounds exactly the same regardless of where it sits in your signal chain, the same way frybread always tastes good whether it's an Indian taco or just bread and butter. And we built the gain stage to go places most fuzz pedals can't because frybread doesn't just do one thing.
Each Frybread Fuzz features my grandmother's traditional frybread recipe printed on the back of the pedal. The same recipe that's been in our family for generations is now part of yours.
